Susan Pellis Cummings

It is with greatest sadness to announce the passing of Susan Pellis Cummings, 59, of Moosic Lake, who died unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 13, 2023.  She was a devoted mother to her son, Conor John Cummings, who she loved dearly.  Susan spread joy and happiness wherever she went.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter to the late Michael and Mary Ann Ropoch Pellis.  Susan attended Valley View High School, Class of 1981, and then graduated from Lackawanna County Vo Tech where she earned her LPN degree.  She worked as a nurse at various health care agencies, the most recent at St. Mary’s Villa, Elmhurst.   

Surviving, in addition to her son, Conor, is her brother, Michael J. Pellis, Eynon and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will hold Susan’s memories close to in their minds and forever in their hearts.

Preceding in death is a sister-in-law, JoAnne Grabin Pellis.

Private memorial services were held at the Louis J. Rapoch Funeral Home, Archbald on Thursday evening, March 23 with immediate family and cherished friends.  Celebrated by Deacon Ed Kelly.
