Phyllis Knipper

Phyllis Knipper, 71, of Archbald died on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a brief illness. She was the widow of Edward R. Knipper who died July 17, 2015.
Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose Vergari Molinaro.
Phyllis was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Carbondale. Before retirement, she was employed as a Bank Teller for Community Bank, Jermyn and a faithful member of Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald.
Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed. She enjoyed reading and attending all special events of her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Surviving are four daughters, Cindy Henderson and husband Chris, Hampden, Maine; Kristen Casey, Lillington, North Carolina; Amy Pawlikowski and husband Dave, Simpson; and Amanda Fuga and husband Tony, Jermyn; six grandchildren, Matthew Babarsky, Abigail Henderson, Liam Casey, Cameron “Cam” Henderson, Logan Fuga and Mason Smith.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Viewing at the Church from 9:00 till time of service. Interment Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Parish Renovation Fund.
