Norma L. Krzywiec, 94, passed away at Forest City Nursing Home on Thursday. She was a former resident of Eynon and a loving wife of the late Charles Krzywiec who died on January 5, 2007.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Senetore Passafaro. Norma worked as a Clerk in the Unemployment office prior to retirement and was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Mary of Czestochowa, Eynon. She took great pleasure in the friendship of the Choo-Choo Belles group, her love of baking, doing crosswords, dining at Coccetti’s and proud fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Surviving is a daughter Cathy Savastano, Honesdale and grandchildren, Stephanie and husband Donald Bradley, Percasie; Rachael and husband Brian Fox, South Caanan; Carly and husband Steve Propst, Beach Lake; Matthew Savastano, Philadelphia; Michael and wife Cong-Fu Savastano, St. Leonard, MD; and Frank Savastano, Jr. Honesdale; Great-grandchildren, Meadow Bradley, Angus and Agathe Fox, Charlie and Emma Propst.

Norma was proceeded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters. She is the last survivor of her siblings and will join them in Paradise.
