Martin Louis Consagra, 58 of Mayfield (1962-2020): aka "Party Marty" passed peacefully following a sudden illness at Geisinger CMC. His mother Fran, and sister Lori were at his side holding his hand, praying, and talking with Martin.
He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Consagra and survived by his mother Fran, sister Lori, nephew Devin Reaves, his wife Ashley, and their children Aria and Dominic.
Born in Scranton, graduated Lakeland High School, and North Vocational Technical Institute (Automotive Arts) 1980. Member of Laborers’ International Union of North America. Following in his father's footsteps, he was a very sharp businessman.
He had a lifetime love for anything that went fast (Fat Boy Harley, 1970 Camaro). He loved camping at the shore, lounging, and swimming in the backyard pool. Marty's family always came first. If you were his friend - you were his friend for life - and life-long friends always became part of his family. He has only one sibling, but he has hundreds of brothers and sisters who have all expressed their love, and grief with his passing. He always said his mother was one of the strongest women he knew, and the women from Archbald were tough women. He will be missed and remembered always. He was the "go to" guy when you needed something fixed, needed inspiration, or needed a shoulder. Marty lived his life his way and never looked back.
He always had his 80’s music playing at his pool, and in his home. Old cars were his passion and knew everything there was to know about cars. He adored his mother, and sister and you could see the love in his eye for them when he talked about them, or in their presence. He felt blessed to be raised by strong parents, and his grandmother. He attributed his values, morals, and ethics from being raised by an old-fashioned Italian family!
His mother Fran Consagra, and sister Lori will be receiving family and friends at Louis J. Rapoch Funeral Home 420 Church St. Archbald PA on Tuesday July 14, 2020, 4-7pm and Wednesday, July 15, 2020, 8:30-9:30am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Christ the King Parish, Archbald, PA.
