Josephine Czachor

Josephine Czachor, 98, of Archbald died Monday, October 2 at Green Ridge Care Center, Scranton where she was a resident. She was the loving daughter to Stanley and Mary Anielcia Biesiadecki Czachor.

Born in Archbald, she was a faithful member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald. A graduate of Archbald High School, before retirement, she was employed at Marion Dress Factory, Peckville as a Floor lady.  She was a talented and gifted seamstress and appreciated by those who worked alongside her.  Josephine treated all with kindness and respect. She was a member of ILGWU.

Surviving is her sister-in-Law, Alice Czachor, Archbald and two nieces, Michelle Krutulis and husband, Dave and Mary Jo Pahoski and husband, Jon; grandnieces and grandnephews, David and Alicia Krutulis, Nicholas, Christopher, Jessica and Joshua Pahoski and great-great-nephews, Connor Beardsley and Oliver Richard Pahoski.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, Michael, Edward and Reverend Christopher Czachor C.P. and two sisters, Stella Shevitts and Mary Rose Czachor.

The family is grateful for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Josephine during her time at Green Ridge Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10 AM in Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald.  Inurnment parish cemetery.  Donations may be made to your favorite charity.  No Flowers please.
