John E. Muha, Jr.,80, a lifelong resident of Archbald, went to Heaven on June 4. Born in Peckville, to the late John E. Mucha and Stella Yamilakowski Mucha. He was stricken with polio at the age of 7 months. Always a fighter, he recovered and graduated from Archbald High School and was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald.
Retired, John enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Always happy and grateful for the smallest things and considered everyone a friend. He found joy in fishing, golfing, long walks and growing tomatoes to give away. He loved God, his family and having coffee with friends at the local McDonalds.
John is survived by a brother, Robert Muha and his wife, Cynthia, South Canaan. Three sisters, Louise Edwards, Covington Township; Gloria Coleman and husband, Lee; Ft. Myers, Fl, and Maryann Fischer and husband, Robert; Nutley, NJ. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Slimski and her husband Joseph; his brother in law Donald J. Edwards and his niece Holly Conlon Edwards.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 15 at 10 AM at Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald. Family will receive condolences from 9:30 AM till service.
