Irene S. Doyle

Irene S. Doyle, 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 6 at Aventura at Terrace View, Olyphant after a lengthy illness.  She was the loving wife of the late Frederick Ira Doyle who died on November 11,1976.

Born in Dickson City, Irene was the daughter of the late Stanley and Verna Navrat Kaszuba. Prior to retirement she worked as a talented seamstress in various garment establishments.  She enjoyed crocheting and gained pleasure and joy from bird watching.  Her eyes lit up when she was with her family and had conversations about the good old days.

Surviving are a daughter, Debby Doyle, Scott Township; a son, Fred and wife Anne Mary Doyle, Archbald; 2 grandchildren, Jaime Vannan and husband Alan, Archbald and Kelly Szezorak and husband, Eugene, Scranton.  She had 3 greatgrandchildren, James and Alexander Vannan and Maggie Szezorak.

The family wishes to acknowledge Aventura for their excellent care and kindness in caring for Irene.  The family will be forever grateful.

Services are private.  Inurnment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Peckville.
