Hannah Mahady Schlappe Perrins, 65, a resident of Scranton, died Friday night at Allied Hospice.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Petro Mahady. Hannah was a barber by trade. She loved helping people and always offered her advice to others. Her talent for writing poetry and stories expressed her creative side as well as her active imagination.
Surviving are daughters; Lorrie Schlappe Reilly and husband Scott, Archbald and Leslie Ann Perrins Huntingcut and husband John, Lake Winola, grandchildren, Taralyn and Jack Reilly, sisters; Mary Ellen Mahady, Scranton and Karen Mahady, San Diego.
Preceding her in death was a brother, William Mahady.
The service will be private at the convenience of the family.
