David Andrukat

David Andrukat, 92, of Carbondale, died early Tuesday morning at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore after a brief illness.  He was the husband of the late Lorraine Bauman Andrukat who died on December 10, 2020 and the son to the late Alexander and Arline Holden Andrukat.

David graduated from West Scranton High School and was an Air Force veteran.  He was a Lithuanian Catholic and prior to his retirement worked for Northeast Telecom as a telecommunication tech.  A Life Member of the VFW Post 7963 and a member of the American Legion.  David was an honorable man and sends this message.  “Remember me as I was – not as I am.”

He is survived by his loving daughter, Deborah Wasnock and husband, Edmund, Carbondale, a sister, Ann Phaneuf, Clarks Summit, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
