Antoinette “Toni” MacKenzie, 93, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023 at Boulevard Nursing and Rehab Center in Boynton Beach, FL. She was the loving wife of the late, Alan J. “Scotty” MacKenzie who died on November 20, 2001.
Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, Toni was the daughter of the late, Samuel and Theresa DeGuilimo Yosua. She was a graduate from Walton High School, Bronx, NY. In her younger years, Toni worked in Manhattan in the Art Department of McFadden Publications. Later, she worked as an office manager and bookkeeper. She took great pride in all she did both at work and volunteering for her church and community.
Toni is survived by her caring son, Bruce and wife, Ayn MacKenzie, New Paltz, NY; loving daughters, Gail and husband, Stig Fromm, Eynon, and Carol Adinolfi and husband, Vincent, Las Vegas, NV; brother, Richard Yosua and wife, Carmela, Mammoth Jct., NJ and six grandchildren, Geri Ayn Gaul; Suzanne and husband, Knate MacKenzie Roy, Leslie Gimino and husband, Christopher, Alex Fromm; Vincent Adinolfi III; Nicholas Adinolfi and wife, Samantha and three great-grandchildren; Sosuke, Aubrey, and Mackenzie.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Yosua and sister, Rose Marie Mag.
Toni enjoyed sewing and making outfits for her entire extended family. She was a champion roller skater and dancer. She met her Scotty on roller skates and skated into a wonderful marriage of 49 years. She was a kind, caring and gentile person and per her wish, services will be respectfully conducted and private.
