Anna J. “Jenny” Ryczak, 91, of Archbald, died Saturday morning at Allied Services. Born September 13, 1927 in Peckville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Zielenski.
Jenny was a seamstress for many companies and retired from Casket Shells Inc. She was a member of Christ the King Parish, St Thomas Aquinas Church. Jenny loved Polkas on PBS on Saturday nights and the ballroom dancing that followed. She also loved playing bingo with her sister, Della, anywhere they went and she enjoyed collecting cookbooks and cooking for her family.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie Halstead and her husband, Albert, Waverly, NY; son, John R Ryczak and his wife, Karen; grandchildren, Kristen, John P. and Amy Ryczak; nephew and caregiver, John Noon and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Stella Grzywacz; Della Pezanowski; Benjamin Zielenski; Edward Zielenski; Florence Falbo; twin brother, John Zielenski; Irene Noon and Chester Zielenski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30am at Christ the King Parish, St Thomas Aquinas Church, 429 Church St Archbald.
Jenny’s Celebration of Life services, have been entrusted to the Louis J Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church Street, Archbald.
