Ann Marie Marion Goldovich “Tootie,” 73, a lifetime resident of Archbald, passed away Tuesday afternoon at home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Richard Goldovich Sr. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on Sept. 18, 2022.
Born in Peckville, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Nan Ahern Marion. Ann Marie was a member of Christ the King Parish at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Her life was devoted to her family and friends. Her faith sustained her through the joys and sorrows of life. She delighted in welcoming people to her home-all were welcome. Her baking, sewing and craft skills were enjoyed by many people over the years. She enjoyed the outdoors on her back porch, with a cup of coffee, watching the birds, especially hummingbirds.
Surviving are her son, Richard Goldovich Jr. and fiancée, Courtney Pollack; two grandchildren, Richie and Julia; a sister, Sister Maureen Marion, O.S.F., Archbald; brothers, Edward Marion (Sharon), Florida; Michael (Debbie) and John (Barbara), Archbald; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Kathryn Cole; and brothers, Joseph and Patrick.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff of Lehigh Valley, Dickson City and Allentown, and staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, for their wonderful care.
The funeral will be Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.. Thomas Aquinas Church, 429 Church St., Archbald. A viewing for Ann Marie will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Louis J.
