Ann Wozniak, 99, a resident of Mid Valley Health Care Center, Peckville, formerly of Eynon, died on Tuesday, November 30. She was the wife of the late Walter Wozniak who died in 1990.
Born in Archbald, daughter of the late John and Kathryn Wojtkunski, she was a faithful member of Christ the King Parish, St. Mary of Czestochowa, Eynon. Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and neighbor. She worked in Sugerman’s, Eynon, in domestic department for many years. She was an excellent cook and baker.
The family would like to express sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at the Mid Valley Health Care Center for their exceptional and affectionate care to Ann.
Ann is survived by her daughter Christine Polcha, Eynon, her grandsons, Addison Polcha and wife Anna, Evans, GA; Phillip Polcha and fiancée Christine Marley, West Pittston; sister, Kathryn Contrino, Bethlehem and her great grandchildren, Beau, Benjamin, and Adeline Polcha, Evans, GA.
She was proceeded in death by three sisters, Josephine Wojtkunski, Mary Mallinski, Rose Villella; three brothers, Stanley, Adam and Frank Wojtkunski.
