Angeline T. Touch

Angeline T. Touch, 94, died Monday afternoon at home, surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of Adam J. Touch Sr. They were married 68 years, July 3, 1954.

Born in Archbald, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Concetta Falvo Spataro. A graduate of Archbald High School, class of 1944 and also attended Lackawanna Business School.  Angie was a faithful member of Christ the King Parish and it’s Altar and Rosary Society.  She was employed in various factories in the area and then became the Co-founder and President of Ace Beverage Co., where she worked along with her family, until she retired.

Surviving in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Cheryl Touch, Scott Twp.; a son, Adam Touch Jr. and wife Jill, Scott Twp.; Sisters: Norma Spataro, and Rose Marie Franchak, and husband Nick, Archbald; Brothers:  Anthony and wife Marie; Greenfield Twp, and Michael and wife, Andrea; Archbald. Three granddaughters, Amanda, Marissa, and Ava Touch; Nieces and Nephews, Anthony Spataro and wife, Julie; Ann Selvanis and husband, Greg; Doreen Huchenski and husband, Gene; Dr. Michael Spataro and wife, Karen; Michelle Spataro, Christine Spataro, and Dr. Karen Spataro; and great nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Nora Spataro and a brother, Joseph Spataro.

 Angie‘s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her granddaughters.  She enjoyed cooking and especially working at ACE Beverage where she greeted customers with a friendly smile and warm welcome.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the VNA Hospice and the many caregivers that made her illness, tolerable.

The funeral service will be Thursday, August 18 at 9:30 AM from the Louis J. Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church St. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald.  Interment in Parish Cemetery.  Viewing Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M.
