Joseph R. Conserette, 89, of Archbald, died Sunday morning at Allied Services, surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 66 years is the former Veronica A. Healey.
Born Tuesday, December 25, 1928 in Archbald, he was a son of the late Peter and Angeline Esgro Conserette. Joseph was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired State Capitol Policeman. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, loved golfing, bowling, wood working and spending time with his family. He especially loved hunting, fishing and playing chess with his brothers. Joseph always enjoyed a friendly game of Poker.
Also surviving are his sons, Joseph Jr. and his wife, Diane; Thomas and his wife, Ann; daughters, Ann Kavulich and her husband, George and Vony Conserette, all of Archbald. Grandchildren Chris, Brian, Jennifer, Pam, Cynthia, Pete, Joe, T.J., Sarah, George III and Leanne; Great-Grandchildren, Jordan; Chris; Emily; Alex; Benny; Laney; Lexy; Mason; Kyra; Katrina; Carl; Abby; Jake; Olivia; McKenzie; Ashley; Teagan; Amelia; Elliot and Matthew and sisters, Marie Bolcavage and her husband, Robert and Jane Esolen. Also survived by his brother-in-law Rich Gavanis.
Joseph is preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and his wife, Irene and Tom and his wife, Margaret Conserette, sister, Theresa Gavanis and brother-in-law, Tony Esolen

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30am at Christ the King Parish, St Thomas Aquinas Church, 429 Church Street, Archbald
Friends may call Wednesday from 8 to 9am at the Louis J Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church St Archbald. Memorial donations may be made to the Christ the King Parish Food Pantry.
