Ann Pia (Pierotti) Vishnisky

Ann Pia (Pierotti) Vishnisky, 99, formerly of 1030 Beech Street, Archbald, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning. She was the widow of Benjamin F Vishnisky Sr who died January 12, 1999.

Born Saturday, December 01, 1917 in Jessup Borough, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Carmela (Barbini) Pierotti. She attended Archbald Schools, and was a seamstress at the Reisner Dress Factory before retirement. She was well known for her vegetable and flower gardens. She loved cooking and baking for her family, and had amazing fishing and camping skills. She was a gifted seamstress and awesome at crocheting, and loved to polka with her husband.

Ann is survived by her son Benjamin F. Jr. and his wife Ann Lorraine Yausm Vishnisky, Archbald; her daughter JoAnn and her husband Jere Johnson, Mt Cobb; her grandchildren Donna Oyler, Jackie Romanosky and her husband Greg, Wayne Vishnisky, Robert Johnson, and Steven Johnson and his companion Lindy Richards; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Armond Periotti, and her sister Angeline Goldovich.

The family wishes to sincerely acknowledge Dr David R. Mayne and the nursing staff of Moses Taylor Hospital, and the staff at the Green Ridge Nursing Care Center, and Compassionate Care Hospice.

Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Friday, 9:30 a.m., Christ the King Parish, St Thomas Aquinas Church, 429 Church Street, Archbald, where family will receive friends at 8:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St John’s Cemetery, Jessup Borough.
