Melynda Del Rosal

Melynda Del Rosal, 11 months, passed away peaceful at home Friday, March 24 surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous 11 month battle with CPT2 Deficiency, a rare illness that Melynda had since birth. She put up a strong fight and came back smiling every time with her family and the hospital staff of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia by her side. Melynda laughed and smiled throughout her 11 months, bringing joy, laughter and happiness to everyone whose lives she touched.

Born Tuesday, April 26, 2016, she was raised in Olyphant and was the daughter of Yonatan and April Inshetski Del Rosal. While her time being spent on earth was short, Melynda loved being held by her siblings and parents, playing with her toy keys, going for walks, and loved eating her fingers.

Surviving is her brother Aaron Del Rosal 7, two sisters, Mia Delrosal 6, Natalia 2. Maternal Grandmother MaryJane Inshetski, Paternal Grandmother Maria Isabel Najera Velasco, Maternal Great Grandmother Helen Remick, Aunts, Uncles, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather George Inshetski, Paternal Grandfather Aaron Del Rosal Cruz, Maternal Great Grandmother Nellie Inshetski.

Melynda’s family would like to thank their extended family and friends for their love, strengthen, and support over the last 11 months. They would also like to thank The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Revolutionary Home Health, State Representative Kevin Haggerty, and Dr. Linda Thomas of The Wright Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish, St Patrick Catholic Church, 120 Willow Avenue, Olyphant, with interment to follow at Valley View Cemetery, 1162 Lakeland Drive, Scott Township. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis J Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church Street, Archbald.
