Mary Elizabeth (Mancuso) Yurgovsky

Mary Elizabeth (Mancuso) Yurgovsky, 96, Dunmore, formerly of Archbald and Carbondale, passed away at Dunmore Health Care Center, with family by her side. Her husband of 53 years was the late John Joseph Yurgovsky, who passed away in 2001.

Born Monday, July 12, 1920 in Archbald, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Rose (Cerene) Mancuso. Mary graduated Salutatorian from Archbald High School, and retired from the Padre Dress Factory. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. Retirees, the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W Post #6082 Shopa-Davey, Peckville, and Christ the King Parish, St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Archbald.

She absolutely loved being with her children, and doted on her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her daughters Mary Ann Davies, Pittsburgh, and Theresa and her husband Allan Lucas, Ormond Beach, Florida; her son-in-law Eugene Kozlowski, Olyphant; 5 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren; brothers John Mancuso, Archbald, and Dr. Robert Mancuso, Nicholson; sisters Frances Consagra, Mayfield, and Betty Livsey, Archbald; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter RoseMarie Ann Kozlowski in September of this year; her son-in-law John Davies; her brothers Angelo, Thomas, Joseph, Frank, Anthony, and Louis; and her sisters Violet, Anna, Theresa, and Rose.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 429 Church Street, Archbald.
