Elizabeth Brenzel Delicati, 56, Jessup, passed away Wednesday evening, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 34 years is Allan Delicati.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of James and Mary Brenzel of Winton. She was a graduate of Valley View High School, Archbald, and she worked at Brenzel Insurance for most of her life.

Liz was a selfless, loving, and caring person; always putting others before herself, especially her family. While her daughters were growing up, she was happily involved, and gave her time and support to the PTA, swim team, and other various activities, throughout the years. Liz was an angel here on earth, and was truly beautiful, inside and out.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. While she enjoyed tapping away at the slots, at the casino, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Allan was her soulmate, and they truly lived for one another. Her daughters made her incredibly proud, and her granddaughters brought her more joy than she has ever known. The bond she shared with her brother, sister, parents, and cousin Donna Depoti, was remarkable, and one to be admired.

Also surviving, are her daughters Amanda Pegula and husband Matt, Jessup; and Gabrielle and husband Jon Chorba, Arlington, Tx.; sister Marylynn and James Gramp, Powhatan, Va.; brother Robert James and Ivy Brenzel, Scranton; her parents James and Mary Brenzel, Jessup; granddaughters Raegan and Charlotte Pegula, Jessup, and her grand-furbabies Dodger, Simba, and Siren; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, Preceded in death by her grandparents Francis and Mary Frances Bradley Munley, and Frank and Elizabeth Luchansky Brenzel, and her brother James Robert Brenzel.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hyzinski, and the staff of Sacred Heart Hospice. In lieu of flowers, Liz has requested donations be made to; Ladies in Pink, Nadine Cenci Marchegiani Foundation, Striefsky Memorial Fund, PanCan.org, or the Barbara Mancuso Memorial Ride.
