Edward Zielenski of Archbald, died Friday night at Lackawanna Health and Rehabilitation. He was the husband of the late Margaret Wojewodzski, who passed away April 27, 2005.
Born June 11, 1923 he was a son of the late Charles and Helen Zielenski. Edward worked as the Chief Engineer for the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. He was a member of East Side Hose Company and Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Edward J. Zielenski, Oakridge, NJ; granddaughters, Tracey, New Jersey; Erika and husband, Craig Rogers and Lauren, all of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Julian and Hannah; sister, Anna Ryczak, Archbald and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his son, John; daughter-in-law, Christine; brothers, Chester and Benny and sisters, Stella; Florence; Della and Irene.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30am at Christ the King Parish, Archbald. Interment will follow at St Thomas Cemetery.
