I was lucky to have met Al at a PCTD breakfast at the Barrels many years ago. What a great guy Al was and hos motorcycle knowledge was vast. Al was never an "I Guy" he was a "We Guy" .

Riding with Al on any Sunday after breakfast was a treat as he was an intense rider who always took pride in taking precise lines through corners and was always grinning like the rest of us while accelerating out of a corner as that inevitable adrenaline rush came to him while "doing it right".

It has been my honor to have ridden with brother Al. We will all miss you, Happy Trails to you and may we somehow meet again on down the road.

To Al's family,
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Al's passing. We worked together 15 years. He was one of a kind,he always had a story to tell me about his cat.AL and I used to go to Russ' campsite and they kept me laughing with one story after another.AL was a unique person and I will never forget all the good times I spent with him.The world has lost a fine man.Rest in peace my friend.

To Al's family,
I knew Al for many years. We often rode together, and he was always there to help me with my bikes, no matter how difficult the task.
He was a rare Gentleman. I never heard him curse or swear, and he never had a bad word for anyone.
He has left many dear friends, who will miss him deeply.
