Alfred F. Bershefsky, died Tuesday morning in the Emergency room of the Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville. His widow is the former Mary Ann Foppoli. They had been married 44 years on April 24, 2009.
Born in Eynon, he was the son of the late Alexander and Viola Horuzy Bershefsky. He was a graduate of Archbald High School and was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Eynon, and its Holy Name Society. Before retirement he worked at Farview State Psychiatric Hospital, Waymart, as a security guard. Before his injury, he enjoyed hunting and fishing
